NBI CLEARANCE FOR FOREIGNERS ONLINE
If you are a foreigner and living in the Philippines. you might need an NBI clearance. This is an important document for many things.

The NBI clearance shows that you have been following the law in the country.

Step1: NBI CLEARANCE FOR FOREIGNERS ONLINE REGISTRATION.
NBI CLEARANCE For Foreigners is easy You just need computer or laptop.
Go to the NBI website at https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/ and fill out the NBI registration form. It is like the process for Filipino citizens.
If you already have an account, you can log in with your email address and continue to the next step.
- If you don’t have an account signup with your email.
- Fill out the NBI form
- provide some basic information Like your name, Phone Number, Father Name and Address
- pay NBI fees.
The website will tell you exactly what to do. If you get stuck, the NBI support team is there to help you at any time during your online application.
Step 2: NBI ONLINE APPOINTMENT.
Fill out the Applicant Information form with your personal information. Make sure you complete all the fields. Once you are done. Click the Save Information button to save your details.
Click on the Apply for Clearance button.
If you are using a cellphone, the button will be at the upper right corner. If you are on a desktop or laptop, the button will be easy to find on the page.
When you click it, a pop-up will appear asking you to upload a valid ID for your appointment day. Make sure you have your ID ready for the appointment.
Foreigners acceptable IDs
Foreign acceptable IDs are your Passport or an ACR I-Card (Alien Certificate of Registration).
Once you enter your details a pop-up window will appear. You can click the “I Agree” button and pick the date and time. The appointment is available from Monday to Friday, and you can choose a nearby NBI Branch. If you live in the NCR (National Capital Region), you will need to go to the NBI Main Clearance Center on U.N. Avenue in Ermita, Manila.
For people living outside Metro Manila, you can still make your appointment online but will need to go to an NBI Branch in your Province. The whole NBI application process might take 10-15 days.
You can use Multi-purpose ID to get NBI Clearance.
Go to the payment section and choose how to pay. You can pay with both options online or go to a bank to pay. The total NBI Clearance fee is PHP 130.00, plus system fee of PHP 25.00. So, the full amount of NBI you will pay is PHP 155.00.
Make sure to keep the receipt as proof that you’ve paid.
After paying, check your account status, and it will change from Pending to Paid.
Step 3: APPEARANCE ON APPOINTMENT DATE.
When you go to the NBI Clearance Main Office on U.N Avenue in Ermita, Manila right near Manila Doctors Hospital.
you are wearing proper attire don’t wear shorts or slippers because they won’t enter you.
You also need to bring the original or photocopy of your passport which is showing the bio page and the visa implementation page
Also Bring your ACR I-Card or Alien Certificate of Registration, a print-out of the application form, and your official receipt.
You do not need to bring a passport-size photo because they will take your picture at the office.
Go to the registration desk and fill out the Registration form.
Then, you will move to the next station for your biometric information, like your digital signature, fingerprints, and another picture.
After that, give your documents for manual fingerprints and another signature.
Finally, the NBI staff will stamp the back of your receipt with a date so you know when to come back and claim your NBI Clearance.
Step 4: CLAIMING NBI CLEARANCE FOR FOREIGNERS.
If you are a foreigner and applying for an NBI clearance, it take little longer than Filipino citizens. While Filipino citizens can claim their clearance on the same day, foreigners have to wait at least six days.
To claim your clearance
you must go back to the NBI office with your payment slip. The date will be written on the back of the slip, so make sure to check it. On the same day, visit the NBI office and show them your slip to get your clearance.
NBI Clearance Renewal for Foreigners
If you are a foreigner and want to renew your NBI Clearance, you need to bring a few important things.
You will need your Old NBI Clearance Copy which that you already had an NBI clearance before.
You also need to bring the original and a photocopy of your passport. Make sure to bring the bio page and the page with your visa details.
Another important document is the ACR I-Card (Alien Certificate of Registration). Also bring your front and back copies of the card. You will also need a print-out of your application form and the official fee receipt to show you paid the fees.
You need to submitted all documents at the NBI Clearance Office, which is located at U.N Avenue, Ermita, Manila.
